Product Buyer (Merchandiser)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Responsible for recruitment in standard categories (skincare, beauty, personal care), recruiting skincare brand merchants (local + overseas) to join the platform;
• Develop and execute detailed development plans based on the company’s product planning for each category, driving new product launches and implementation;
• Handle merchant cooperation negotiations and contracts, and follow up on all tasks related to brand onboarding to ensure a smooth process;
• Actively conduct market research and merchant analysis, promptly feedback market information, and provide effective business insights;
• Maintain good post-onboarding communication and cooperation with brands, collaborate with relevant departments to achieve monthly planning and product launch tasks, and meet KPIs (sales targets, brand onboarding, cost control, and profitability).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with over 5 years of experience in skincare category recruitment or operations, preferably in retail channel (skincare) categories;
• Familiarity with skincare, beauty, and personal care, with resources in (local + overseas) brands and categories;
• In-depth knowledge of related industry clusters, product pricing, and brands, along with a certain level of merchant resources;
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to analyze industry trends and manage projects through data;
• Excellent business and communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and resource development capabilities to effectively mobilize merchant resources;
• Strong learning ability, execution, self-motivation, teamwork, and result-oriented approach.
