HR Generalist
About this position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
• Support Talent Acquisition team on full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
• Lead and manage the internship program in collaboration with local universities, fostering strong partnerships to attract top talent.
• Manages employee relations, develops engagement programs, and conducts performance management processes.
• Plays a key role in policy development, regulatory compliance, and audit HR practices from time to time.
• Foster strong relationships across teams and departments by providing HR support, advice, and updates to managers and staff on relevant issues.
• Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new employees, including conducting orientations and completing required documentation.
• Manage the offboarding process, ensuring proper exit interviews and documentation to gain insights for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and organizational policies.
• Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads and coordinate training sessions.
• Track and report on employee training completion and effectiveness.
• Work with HRBP on delivery of training (internal or external) to increase organizational capability on the long run.
• Providing coaching and development opportunities for employees to advance within the organization.
• Assists with payroll and benefits administration, job evaluations, and compensation analysis.
• Assist in promoting the company’s employer brand through local initiatives such as university partnerships.
Requirements
• Bachelor or higher in HRM, HRD, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in HR, preferably as a HR Generalist in a logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions (payroll, recruitment, training, etc.) and familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
• Proactive, with strong analytical, organizing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• A “can-do” attitude, with an entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and a commitment to delivering results.
• Good command of English and computer literacy.
