Investment Specialist
About this position
Responsibilities
• Communication (approx. 60%)
• Provide timely investment updates, opportunities, and solutions to prospects, clients, and relationship managers through clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Provide client-facing support as an investment consultant, collaborating with relationship managers to assist clients with products and investment-related inquiries.
• Propose and construct investment solutions for clients together with relationship managers including making presentation slides and other written materials.
• Investments (approx. 30%)
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of investment product line-up and possess an in-depth understanding of asset management principles, financial markets, portfolio construction, and portfolio performance analysis.
• Conduct due diligence on investment products and maintain awareness of fund houses, contributing to the fund selection process.
• Participate in Investment Team discussions regarding investment ideas and opportunities.
• Others (approx. 10%)
• Maintain and update portfolio model data as well as regular relevant reports.
• Collaborate with other teams on business and product development initiatives.
• Fulfill any related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in MBA, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Approx. 2-5 years of experience in wealth management, investment consulting, and/or client-facing advisory positions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and market outlook.
• Intermediate proficiency in English, encompassing reading and listening skills.
• Highly-motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal and Morningstar Direct is a plus.
