About this position

FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Animal Health Specialist to support the Global Health Security Program in Thailand, focusing on zoonotic disease surveillance and One Health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Zoonotic Disease Surveillance
• Strengthen the integrated surveillance program for priority zoonotic diseases in collaboration with the Coordinating Unit for One Health
• Oversee activities related to animal health and zoonotic disease surveillance
• Coordinate with local and international stakeholders
• Develop integrated surveillance programs to enhance Thailand’s capacity to detect and respond to zoonotic diseases

Requirements

• Relevant degree in veterinary medicine, public health, or related field
• Experience in animal health and zoonotic disease surveillance
• Strong understanding of One Health initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
