About this position
The Head of Finance will lead and oversee all financial operations and accounting activities in Thailand, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations while driving business growth.
Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee all financial operations and accounting activities in Thailand, including financial statements preparation, accounts management, and fixed assets control.
• Develop and implement finance strategies, prepare annual budgets, and ensure optimal cash management while maintaining compliance with company policies.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets, monitor revenues, and manage expenses.
• Drive financial reporting and analysis using SAP tools.
• Manage product/customer profitability analysis and provide strategic insights for decision-making.
• Oversee cash flow management and treasury operations, collaborating with global treasury teams.
• Lead system and reporting improvements through SAP Financial systems and Business Intelligence tools.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies, working with local, regional, and corporate teams.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and legal requirements in Thailand.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve company-wide financial goals.
• Lead and develop effective finance and accounting teams, throughout the programs to ensure high levels of competency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with significant experience in Thailand.
• Strong proficiency in SAP financial systems and Business Intelligence tools.
• Extensive knowledge of Thai tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Professional certification in Finance or Accounting (require CPD).
