HR Specialist (Chinese Speaking)
About this position
The HR Specialist (Chinese Speaking) is responsible for managing recruitment processes, compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws while effectively communicating in both English and Chinese.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Contract Management Function (50%):
• Manage the overall recruitment process from job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and offering, until the hiring is complete.
• Work with outsourcing companies for all recruitment processes.
• Coordinate with each department to full fill recruitment require.
• Oversee the Social Security System, Group Insurance and monitor probation periods for employees.
• Draft, revise, and renew employment contracts as necessary.
• Coordinate with hospitals for medical check-ups and recruitment agencies when needed.
• Maintain HR personal files and ensure employment records are accurate.
• Handle administrative work and other assignments as required.
Compensation and Benefits Function (40%):
• Support payroll calculations (monthly salary, monthly income tax, monthly social security fund) and verify outsourcing payroll.
• Revise outsourcing staff salaries, work-based locations, positions, etc., with the outsourcing company (if applicable).
• Communicate changes in welfare and benefits and resolve related issues.
• Handle other tasks related to compensation and benefits.
Labor Relations and Law (10%):
• Review HR legal documents.
• Supervise the employment and termination processes to ensure compliance with Labor Law.
• Coordinate with the Legal Department and law firms (when necessary).
• Act as a legal representative of the company, particularly in labor issues (when necessary).
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, such as Political Science, Psychology, Arts, et cetera.
- At least 1-2 years experience in Recruitment (with another at least one-year in Benefits & Compensation and Employee Relations function will be much preferable).
- Fluent in English for both writing and speaking. Being able to communicate in Chinese will be preferable.
- Possessing basic knowledge about the Labor Protection/Relations Act., Experiencing in labor litigation or any labor cases will be a plus.
- Ability to work under high pressure environments.
- Having strong-analytical, problem-solving, convincing, decision-making skills.
- Being sociable and a good listener (ready to give advice to colleagues).
