About this position
Position involves negotiating prices, coordinating purchasing of parts and machinery both domestically and internationally, sourcing new suppliers, market research, and other assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
• Negotiate prices and coordinate purchasing of parts and machinery domestically and internationally
• Source new suppliers to increase competition, reduce costs, and improve quality
• Conduct market price surveys, analyze market situations to predict purchasing prices for maximum benefit to the company
• Source contractors for various projects within the company
• Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international purchasing
• Knowledge of BOI is a plus
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
• Proficient in MS Office
• Flexible, adaptable, creative, decisive, problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
