About this position

The Sr. Supply Chain Engineer (Optical Parts) is responsible for supporting organizational goals to achieve total customer satisfaction, increasing company revenue through effective sourcing, and enhancing transaction speed by utilizing real-time data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Lead material sourcing activity for New Products in order to meet customer’s quality/cost/delivery requirement.
• Work closely with cross-functional team in qualifying new products or new supplier to ensure that quality is not compromised at every stages of a product lifecycle.
• Increase company revenue by sourcing the best pricing value for new product and turnkey items. Also, be able to advice on alternative sources rather than AVL.
• Develop and maintain cost models.
• Maintain and increase the transaction speed by exchanging data in real-time.
• Lead the quarterly cost reduction project.
• Lead the lead time reduction project.

Requirements

• B.Eng. / M.Eng. in Telecommunications or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience.
• Have knowledge in supplier management, negotiation, initiative skills and good team player.
• Experience in Costing or Manufacturing Instruction (MI) or Quality Assurance position is preferable.
• Good command of English; Mandarin is a plus.
