About this position

The position of Sr./Jr SMT Process Engineer involves supporting advanced SMT NPI activities, establishing process documentation, and ensuring product and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Support Advance SMT NPI activities.
• Establishing and preparing the process documentations.
• Supervise Design validation, tool validation, process validation build.
• Establishing a product /process qualification report.
• Responsible for a failure root cause analysis and undertake corrective action when needed.
• Perform other duties as properly assigned by supervisor/leader.
• Develop assembly process for Advance SMT NPI products to meet customer requirement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Professional experience working in SMT or PCBA process/manufacturing engineering, flipship attach.
• 5+ years of experience working in SMT or PCBA process/manufacturing engineering.
• Hands on experience with stencil print, SPI, pick & place, reflow, AOI, ICT, x-ray inspection, underfill and staking processes.
• Ability to define requirements for equipment and process control.
• Ability to design efficient floor layout and drive facilities improvements.
• Experience with high volume commercial, industrial or consumer grade electronics manufacturing.
• Proven experience in dynamic NPI environment and transition to full scale production.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
