About this position

This position will be a part of IT Network & Communication team, responsible for network devices installation, setup, monitoring, cable wiring, and creating documents according to IT department standards. The person in this position should also assist seniors in network design, analyze network problems, and provide network solutions to help users resolve network issues.

Responsibilities

• Know customer's expectations and drive action to meet them.
• Interact with customer to analysis the networking problem and provide the solution with systematic approach.
• Administer network traffics, utilizing one or more TCP/IP or non-TCP/IP networking protocols and/or one or more UNIX-based or non-UNIX based operating systems to ensure maximum networking uptime.
• Evaluate or recommend purchases network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, routers, and applying cryptography to network applications.
• Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
• Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability.
• Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Perform work related to standard networking design.

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in Network Engineering field.
• Good Command of English and communication skills.
• Knowledge in enterprise networking systems (Cisco/Non-Cisco), TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, QOS, VPN, Firewall, Wireless LAN and 802.1x.
• Must be an individual contributor on a small team of dedicated professionals, able to understand system level design know well in OSI, TCP/IP model.
• Knowledge of a range of computer networking systems, computer and network security systems. Especially OSI model, TCP/IP and well know protocol process.
• Cisco configuration, Cisco certified CCNA or above will be advantage.
• VMware administration.
• Cyber security compliance will be advantage.
