Chinese Translator Officer
About this position
The Chinese Translator Officer is responsible for translating communications between Thai and Chinese, providing interpretation, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure effective communication and support within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Translate documents, emails, and other communications from Thai to Chinese, Chinese to Thai and vice versa.
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings and discussions.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office support.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication flow.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
• Contribute to the improvement of translation and administrative processes.
• Assisting with office organization and maintenance.
• Handling incoming calls and emails, directing them appropriately.
• Managing office supplies and equipment.
• Providing administrative support to various teams.
• Assisting in onboarding and orientation processes.
• Supporting HR initiatives, such as employee engagement activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese language, linguistics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Labour laws.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• 1 year work experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in both written and spoken Thai and Chinese.
• Good communication skills to assist employees.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
• Strong communication skills for assisting with HR inquiries and activities.
