About this position

The Global Compliance & Reporting (Accounting - Tax Services) Senior Consultant position at EY offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic global tax team, providing tax services to clients and colleagues. The role involves mastering tax laws, preparing tax returns, and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Mastering tax laws and dealing with authorities
• Preparing monthly VAT and withholding tax returns
• Providing bookkeeping services and preparation of local financial statements
• Preparing corporate income tax returns and tax advice report
• Preparing presentations and email correspondence
• Communicating with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner
• Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
• Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor
• Understanding personal and team roles
• Contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members
• Proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Auditing
• Excellent oral and written English skills (including strong presentation skills)
• Computer skills (e.g., MS Office)
• Committed to providing quality outcomes
• 3-5 years working experience (audit/accounting experience, or tax background/knowledge is a plus)
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and work well as a supportive team player
