Cash Management Analyst (Chinese Speaking)
About this position
At ExxonMobil, we are looking for a Cash Management Analyst who will play a key role in managing cash flow and liquidity for our affiliates in the Asia Pacific region, while also providing reliable data for investment decisions and managing relationships with banks.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Gathers and analyzes data; uses data to develop information necessary to prepare and timely file returns.
• Manage daily liquidity requirements and perform cash flow forecasting for ExxonMobil affiliates in Asia Pacific region.
• Develop cash management proposals to optimize cash balances.
• Provide reliable data to Traders for investments and management of foreign exchange exposures of ExxonMobil affiliates.
• Execute intercompany transactions on behalf of ExxonMobil affiliates.
• Payment to Central Clearing House.
• Loan drawdowns and repayments process to manage working capital of EM affiliates Interest settlement of loans.
• Dividend payments or equity injection, based on instructions from ExxonMobil Affiliate Finance.
• Interface with banks to resolve any issues and manage relationship with banks.
• Book transactions in Treasury Management System.
• Manage regulatory reporting to Central Banks.
• Bank account administration (e.g. verification of interest and bank charges, updates to bank account operating mandates, etc).
• Administer inter-company loan / deposit agreements and prepare monthly in-house bank statements for month-end close.
• Participate in adhoc Cash Management initiatives / projects.
• Keep updated on banking regulations and industry practices and make recommendations to management.
• Review and negotiate bank fees, overdraft facilities for Internal approval.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
• A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• 2-3 years of experience in Finance related fields.
• Fluency in English: TOEIC 800+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+.
• Fluency in Chinese is a must (HSK 4 and above).
• Good understanding of finance concept and practice (interest rates, FX, etc.).
• Ability to apply business procedures and practices, ExxonMobil guidelines, ExxonMobil control standards.
