Account Officer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounts activities, ensure accuracy and timeline
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of payments and receipts by reconciling them with bank statements and other records
• Prepare monthly tax reports (VAT, WHT), reconcile with GL and submit to Revenue Department on time
• Support the other staffs with finance-related tasks
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and procedures
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment, receipt, general ledger, and asset management
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, especially Excel is a must
