About this position

Mazda Indonesia is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Engineer Staff to join their dynamic team, committed to excellence in automotive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Production Lines: Set up and prepare new plant and assembly production lines.
• Technical Communication: Communicate, coordinate, and clarify engineering technical information with Mazda Japan.
• Specification Creation: Create and review equipment specifications for suppliers, ensuring compliance with Mazda’s requirements.
• Supplier Review: Review supplier drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with Mazda’s standards.
• Monitor Supplier Progress: Oversee and control supplier progress in equipment fabrication and installation to meet project schedules.
• Problem Analysis: Analyze and address problems during tooling trials and pilot production, implementing effective countermeasures.
• Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing, trials, and equipment buy-off/commissioning activities.
• Document Preparation: Prepare essential documents for assembly production processes, including Process Charts, Instruction Manuals, QCPC, and more.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Production Engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in Trim & Chassis/Final Assembly Production Engineering is preferable.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities for problem-solving and process improvement.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Job Allocation Study, Job Balancing Study, cost reduction studies, and KAIZEN improvement.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with buy-off and commissioning activities and quality problem solving.
• Drawing Skills: Able to read and analyze 2D drawings.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD is a must.
