Senior / Junior Stamping Engineer (Metal) - Mechanical Parts

ETA Thailand is a leading manufacturer in the electronic and micro-mechanical components industry, seeking both Senior and Junior Stamping Engineers to focus on stamping processes, tool maintenance, and machine control to achieve quality standards and improve processes.

Responsibilities

Senior Stamping Engineer:
• Install, set-up, repair, troubleshoot and modify assigned machines and necessary tools.
• Implement new development / improvement of tooling, cycle time and other related production need.
• Transfer the knowledge of handling, operating and maintenance, also train to new employees.
• Design of simple, compound and progressive stamping tools for metal parts.
• Control and monitoring of essential and spare parts consumption and modify min and max level based on actual/ future demand for the entire production process.
• Control discipline, cleanliness, safety and handing of equipment and product.
• Collaborate with the Management and Department Head for planning of output, reduction of rejects and improvement of processes.
• Organize preventive maintenance about stamping tools and machines.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Circle (AIC & COPAC).
• Ensure the starting date of the order form is in line with the production planning Gantt chart and not to create any backlog.

Junior Stamping Engineer:
• Ensure that die repair and maintenance work is carried out in a normal and orderly manner.
• Follow up on the grinding, repair and replacement of spare parts in maintenance, and prepare an application form for spare parts.
• Conduct daily inspections of dies for production, track production status, and solve related on-site problems in die production in a timely and effective manner.
• Follow up the inspection of samples and conduct quality control during production.
• Implement the engineer's die modification plan and complete sample production.
• Communicate and manage quality, productivity, safety matters and housekeeping (5S).

• Strong communication skills both in Thai and English.

Your Experience includes (Qualification):
• Junior level: Diploma in Mechanical or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in minimum 3-5 years’ experience in metal stamping die as progressive die, single die machinery.
