Senior / Junior Engineer ( CNC/ Hollowing ) - Mechanical Parts

About this position

ETA Thailand is a leading manufacturer in the electronic and micro-mechanical components industry, seeking both Senior and Junior Engineers (CNC/Hollowing) to manage CNC processes and ensure quality production.

Responsibilities

• Senior Engineer (CNC / Hollowing)
• Install, set-up, repair, troubleshoot and modify assigned machines and necessary tools.
• Implement new development / improvement of machining, tooling, cycle time and other related production need.
• Transfer the knowledge of handling, operating and maintenance, also train to new employees.
• Supervise and guide the assigned group of technicians and operators on technical issues.
• Collaborate with the Management and Department Head for planning of output, reduction of rejects and improvement of processes.
• Supervise maintenance work and availability of spare parts and raw material for assigned machines.
• Ensure that all operations are carried out within the period and cost limits according to the required quality standards.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Circle (AIC & COPAC).
• Ensure the starting date of the order form is in line with the production planning Gantt chart and not to create any backlog.

• Junior Engineer (CNC / Hollowing)
• Full responsibility for the setup CNC machines assigned.
• Tooling preparation before setup machine and perform basic setup, repair & troubleshooting.
• Guide and lead all technician and operator on auto-control an on measurements.
• Strictly follow the OF plan date and ensure the OF is completed within the time frame and report any problems immediately to the superior.
• Conform the GRF and completed the issue within stipulated time.
• Manage the shift groups.
• Transfer the knowledge of handing.
• Propose actions for reduction of rejects and do corrective adjustment actions on the machines.
• Survey the downtime and take corrective action on the machines and tools.
• Perform inspections sample pieces at regular intervals to assure good quality.

• Your Experience includes (Qualification)
• Junior level: Diploma in Mechanical or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in minimum 3 years' experience with CNC machine, program Tsugami, Star series, Fanuc
• Junior level: able to work with shift
• Senior level: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Master's degree is preferred.
