Quality Engineer (NPI)

The NPI Quality Engineer plays a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure quality performance and adherence to quality standards while driving improvement actions and projects.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the whole quality of the NPI product/process, including but not limited to the abnormality handling, the analysis of the quality issues, the preliminary investigation of such defects and the, follow up and involve for solve the problems as cross-functional team;
• Coordinate for the cross function team and work arrangement for NPI plan.
• New product NPI samples (component & finished product) quality check and submit quality reports within expected lead time and accuracy, ensure proper NPI samples quality level to intercompany customers
• Lead preliminary investigation / analysis of NPI samples failure or FPY%, promote improvement action, and drive for results verification.
• Coordinate among production and quality of multiple manufacture process, as major contact window from plant, work closely with cross function team engineering, supply chain planning, APQP, etc for all NPI related topics.
• Cooperate with cross function team to establish knowledge transfer from NPI to manufacturing team
• Maintain NPI / transfer product history record with proper follow up of root cause analysis and improvement action, support on lesson learn cases collection.
• Definition of Quality SOP and Working Instructions;
• Responsible for the NPI quality documentation and relevant training;
• Make sure that Safety, Manpower and 5S principles are followed in the quality team working area.
• New product NPI samples (component & finished product) quality check and submit quality reports within expected lead time and accuracy, ensure proper NPI samples quality level to intercompany customers.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in In-process quality control or NPI qualification.
• Experience & knowledge of injection mold / molding process, familiar with injected product defects.
