Quality Engineer (Logistics/ Final Control)
About this position
The Logistics Quality Engineer plays a key role in coordinating the Quality and Distributions center (DC) team to ensure quality performance and adherence to quality standards in the Distributions center department, while driving improvement actions and projects.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the whole process quality of the Distributions center department, including but not limited to the abnormality handling, the analysis of the quality issues or production defects, the investigation of such defects root causes and the definition of corrective/preventive actions to avoid them, customer feedback and complaint management, follow up and solve the problems as cross-functional team leader;
• Coordinate team defining the team daily work arrangement and long term performance improvement plan and team development;
• Responsible for the Inspection process, daily process audit and corrective actions for the audit findings;
• Work closely with production team to achieve and improve the quality KPIs;
• Work with SQM, Quality team and Distributions center team on the incoming material quality for Distributions center process;
• Implement projects for the reduction and the continuous improvement of the defect rate and the overall operating costs;
• Provide analysis and reporting on the Quality KPIs and performance for Distributions center process to the local and corporate team;
• Definition of Quality SOP and Working Instructions;
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics quality engineering.
• Responsible for the Distributions center process quality documentation and relevant training;
• Make sure that Safety, Manpower and 5S principles are followed in the quality team working area.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree majoring in Engineering or similar;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Customer claim/complain and Non-conforming control or similar industries;
• Good English written and spoken communication;
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software package (Excel and data analysis);
• Logical Thinking and Problem Solving Attitude.
