About this position

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Mold Production Supervisor/Tool Shop Supervisor to oversee tooling fabrication and maintenance, ensuring support for New Product Introduction and production volume delivery objectives. The role involves managing the Bench Fitting Team, monitoring KPIs, and collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bench Fitting Team
• Be responsible training and support evaluation of work force
• Manage Bench Fitting area KPIs such as efficiency, quality rate, and new tooling output
• Manage bench technicians hand tools conditions and replenishment
• Manage raw material consumption and replenishment
• Manage material preparation area, semi-finished inventory and replenishment
• Perform new tooling and maintenance bench fitting when necessary, including cavity polishing and mirroring when applicable
• Comply with the local and group policies
• Comply with the ISO certifications and other group systems
• Contribute to the external/internal audit

Requirements

• Professional formation as industrial mechanics and/or tooling technician
• Good Interpersonal Skills with the right communication level including a good spoken English (intermediate level)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in Tool Shops operating machines and/or performing tool bench fitting, with a demonstrating process technical expertise and analytical skills
• Leadership experience
• Strong experience operating, supporting or leading processes such as lathe turning, grinding, drilling or any tool making / machining operation
• Strong experience with metal forging tool and/or injection molds of products
