About this position

The Continuous Improvement Engineer at Essilor Optical Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is responsible for capacity planning and analyzing production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conducting time and motion studies to improve standard times and reduce labor costs.
• Initiating, leading, and executing continuous improvement projects while providing technical support to address quality, productivity, safety, waste reduction, working processes, and operating systems through Kaizen using continuous improvement (CI) methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Utilizing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tools to analyze non-value-added (NVA) activities and lead times, followed by implementing improvements.
• Designing, modifying, and improving solutions for new models, jigs, tooling, and fixtures to enhance working conditions.
• Responding to setup activities to support new project launches, aiming to improve productivity, performance, and capacity while coordinating with relevant parties to ensure line setups align with the master schedule.
• Facilitating in-house training on continuous improvement tools and methodologies for employees.
• Assisting in improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis and project management tools.
