About this position

The Automation Engineer position at Essilor Optical Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. involves defining requirements and specifications for automation projects, as well as the installation and commissioning of automated machines.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with the center team and innovation team to bring in new technology and innovation to production for productivity and quality improvement.
• Ensuring that the technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and on budget.
• Machine, Jig/Fixture conceptualize detailed for feasibility studies to match takt time & quality.
• Making machine conceptual designs requirements for machine makers to design & quotation, also issue machine inspection (TOR: Term Of Reference) reports follow the concept design.
• Onsite check machine maker, machine evaluation, setup, test running, validation report or document to ensure that all installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety and product quality standards and documentation is up to date and in place.
• Machine parameter determination / qualification to find best capability and best process window for zero defect production.
• Risk analysis.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automation engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of automation technologies and systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in both Thai and English.
