About this position

The APQP Quality Supervisor supports new model development by collaborating with technical and NPI planning teams to guide APQP workflows, ensuring products, processes, and tools are qualified for mass production while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• To lead DFMEA & PFMEA to avoid critical potential failure mode, and ensure necessary control actions implemented.
• Working with technical function and NPI planning team to support new model development from product quality prospective as well as evaluating the manufacturing process feasibility.
• To guide related team follow standard APQP workflow for qualification of product, process, mold, tools…etc for mass production readiness.
• To lead new product APQP gate release and validate all necessary deliverables per each phase.
• Taking lead on problem solving with proper quality tools, verifying improvement actions in systematic and documented manner.
• Continuously improving product quality and workflow optimization.
• Learning from Good & Bad cases, and keep sharing documented lesson learns to cross-functions.
• Timely interacting with quality team in other geographies for NPI frame quality related topics.

Requirements

• Minimum college degree, major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related.
• Minimum 5 years APQP or NPI product quality working experiences.
• English communication skills required.
• Familiar with office software.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Preferable experiences in optical/sunglass frame NPI, engineering, production or quality experience.
• Skills in quality tools, statistic control methods.
• Good problem analysis and solving skills.
• Familiar with six sigma methodology.
