The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and performance store. This role involves leading the team to ensure outstanding customer service, maintaining product quality, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of staff to meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
• Train, develop, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and drive store sales, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly targets are met.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and address customer inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Implement sales strategies and promotions to increase profitability.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational standards.
• Manage inventory, including stock ordering, receiving, and controlling wastage to minimize loss.
• Monitor and maintain food safety, hygiene, and health standards in compliance with regulations.
• Manage store budgets and expenses to maximize profitability.
• Conduct cash handling, register reconciliation, and bank deposits following company policy.
• Ensure the store maintains a positive brand image through excellent presentation, product quality, and customer service.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, seasonal offerings, and company initiatives to communicate with customers effectively.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales, customer feedback, inventory levels, and operational issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and labor laws.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Store Manager, Retail Manager, or equivalent leadership role (preferably in food & beverage or bakery sectors).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, financial principles, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred (but not required with relevant experience) will be an advantage.
