Planning Engineer
About this position
The Planning Engineer is responsible for managing and controlling manufacturing operations to meet production plans, product quality, and cost standards while ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
•Management and control manufacturing operations to ensure that they meet the agreed production plan, product quality, and cost standards.
•Implement any required changes to production processes to improve output and product quality, and costs reduction.
•Implement quality improvement programs to improve the cost-effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
•Monitoring all manufacturing operations and working conditions to ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment.
•Ensure the condition of materials, equipment, housekeeping, working conditions are working properly, if something is found wrong, make quick decisions in coordinates with all affected functions/departments.
•Make the daily/weekly/ or monthly report, wastage, machine usage, inventory, yield analysis, etc., maintain all necessary records to ensure effective monitoring of the manufacturing process.
•Ensure that all equipment, machines, and tools are properly maintained; and maintenance plan is executed as planned.
•Ensure that the most efficient and effective use is made of plant and equipment and that adhere to safety standards.
Requirements
•Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemical Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineer field.
•At least 5 Years of experience in the manufacturing improvement/Production process control with a background in the manufacturing industry.
•Knowledge of manufacturing processes plastic recycling PET and HDPE products and recycling-related machines. If having skills in the field of processes plastic recycling is an advantage.
•Good command of both spoken and written English.
