Customer Quality Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Direct interface with customers on product introduction requirements
• As a communication channel between customer on quality concerns & requirements
• Work closely with process owners pertaining to quality matters.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions with process owners for part quality resolution
• Generate 8D reports to customers and closely follow up
• Responsible for tracking and driving field returns units with process owners and customers
• Monthly process control plan audit to confirm the manufacturing readiness
Requirements
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in supplier/customer quality role
• Possess strong analytical and report writing skill
• Knowledge of 8D methodology; statistical tools such as cause and effect
