Mechanic Technician - Offshore
About this position
Responsibilities
• Direct, coordinate, and perform the job activities in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Take initiative and fulfills duties consistent with company standards, policies, and controllable expense budget.
• Provide input to supervisor on personnel needed to provide timely and economical maintenance
• Provide information on the supervisor for the preparation of the planning of the location’s budgets
• Scrutinize the job parts and supply inventory to minimize investment while maintaining a sufficient level to insure proper job performance
• Take any corrective action to insure guaranteed operating efficiency of equipment
• Ensure all personnel adhere to HSE protocol
• Complete the proper reports and actions required by the location’s operating policies including the supervision and completion of time cards
• Provides the guidance and coordination required for the remedial repairs and major equipment overhauls and operation
• Provide 24/7 coverage
• Work overtime and is available for on-call rotations. Overtime and on-call requirements include work after regular work hours, weekends and holidays
Requirements
• Knowledge in Gas processes, Mechanic of Motor Compressors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, White Superior, AT 25)
• Main Competencies: Team Working, Effective communications, Analytical capability, personnel development, self-motivation and self-control, Supervising, Initiative, Focus on, Planning and problem solving, Customer focus.
• 1-5 years of working experience in Mechanic of Motor Compressors
• 1 year compression process, production and equipment related experience and/or training
• Possess thorough knowledge of compressor packages including all component and systems
• Have valid drivers license
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic language of the country
• Customer service orientation
• Working knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations
• Healthy and can go to work offshore
