About this position

This position will perform operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for electrical and mechanical equipment. Effectively aids the lead man in performing maintenance of total property and equipment on remote wellhead platform (WHP).

Responsibilities

• Maintains production equipment in good working order.
• Performs operation and maintenance of the total property and equipment, within work order management (WOM) and cost guidelines, while maintaining a minimum amount of down time and within work order due date.
• Can diagnose wellhead platform (WHP) complex electrical/mechanical breakdowns; replaces or repairs worn or defective parts to meet manufactures or facility specification.
• Installs, repairs, rebuilds, wires, and maintains a variety of mechanical/electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, crane, production equipment, transformers, alarms, machines, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic devices.
• Must have a firm working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical for shop equipment as well as rolling stock/spare parts.
• Follows instructions and works with facility requirement or under limited supervision.
• Adheres to Facility and Company HSE rules and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) and operating of all listed remote wellhead platform (WHP) equipment.
• Responds to after-hour callouts as required.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Completes work orders as directed by work order management (WOM) or lead man.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers.

Requirements

• At least diploma or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Maintenance and Operation Technician.
• Fair command of English and computer literacy.
• Self-motivated, good relationship and be able to work as a team.
• Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
• Healthy and strong physical demands.
• Able to work offshore (on oil rig in the sea - Gulf of Thailand).
• Must be willing to travel to Songkhla.
