Production Planner
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain detailed production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives
• Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks and optimise workflows to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the timely delivery of raw materials, production, and distribution
• Monitor production performance and provide regular reports to management
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and optimise resource utilisation
• Assist in the development and implementation of new production technologies and systems
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in using production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
