Import Officer
About this position
The Import Officer is responsible for managing imports, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with customs procedures and BOI regulations.
Responsibilities
• Manage imports and coordinate with shipping agents, customs broker, and internal agencies.
• Responsible for controlling the operations of import customs procedures and related government agencies.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
• Manage shipping documents, invoice, packing list, and check the correctness of import documents.
• Overseeing the importing of raw materials and finished products of BOI, checking raw material stocks, including importing machinery under BOI conditions.
• Request approval of Max stock for raw materials and request approval to amend Max Stock.
• Request approval of Masterlist machine for the list of machinery and equipment.
• Request approval of production formula and edit the production formula.
• Responsible for all import systems related to BOI.
• Preparing and submitting required reports to BOI as scheduled.
• Coordinating with the accounting team about the payment of import processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Import & Export experience.
• Have knowledge about the BOI process.
• Good command in English. If able to communicate in Chinese, this will be given special consideration.
• Familiar with PC Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation is a must).
