Senior SEO Consultant
About this position
Responsibilities
• You’re the person in charge of:
• Developing SEO proposals for Clients
• Conduct technical audits to gauge SEO health of clients websites (Server Issues, canonical setup, Page load time, Java script, Knowledge panels e.t.c)
• Keyword research and competitive analysis
• Form a comprehensive strategy that recommends changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve organic search keywords ranking and overall visibility
• Coordinating with the Account Management/Consulting team to present findings, reports & strategies to the Clients
• Project Management for Implementation phases:
• Execute on-page optimizations and implement changes in content management systems (CMS)
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes. Develop and implement link building strategy.
• Collaborate with the in-house or Client’s content and marketing teams to execute a winning content marketing and SEO strategy
• Build and own a portfolio of SEO business
• Work with our Consulting team to cultivate inbound and outbound sales
• Work with our Account Management team to identify Cross-Sell opportunities from existing client relationships.
• Manage, retain and grow SEO client base
• Build a team
• As we expand the book of SEO business, we’ll hire junior SEO Consultants to scale up.
• Help hire, train and mentor junior team members and support their development
• As the team grows, the opportunity for promotion from “Senior” to “Team Lead” is all yours if you’re ready for it.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in SEO (Search Engine Optimization), with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
• Demonstrated expertise in both on-page and off-page SEO techniques, including keyword research, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
• Extensive experience in planning, implementing, and managing successful SEO strategies for websites and online businesses.
• Deep understanding of Google SEO best practices and webmaster policies.
• Knowledgeable about DOM, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and particularly comfortable with parsing HTML elements within source code.
• Experience working with SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SiteBulb, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, Majestic.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Rapport and relationship-building across geographies and disciplines; inspire a team and influence customers’ decisions.
