About this position

The Manufacturing Cost Analyst Engineer is responsible for controlling and analyzing manufacturing costs within the automotive industry, ensuring optimal cost levels and identifying cost-saving opportunities throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Control manufacturing cost such as manpower, material, equipment, spare part, waste etc.
• Analyze and verify costs of manufacturing systems, processes, and tools within the life cycle of strategic projects based on input from product and process engineering, customer requirements specifications, etc.
• Preparing recommendations to achieve optimum cost levels for materials, manufacturing processes
• Conduct research on vehicle/cost laws, analyze raw material cost data, and forecast trends.
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Responsible for cost reporting and analyze variances with latest forecast, budget and last year

Requirements

• Experience with manufacturing cost control in automotive industry (OEM)
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accountant, industrial engineer or relevant fields.
• Familiar with car maker manufacturing.
• Communication skill, both written and verbal in English.
• Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to project-related issues.
• Deep understanding of cost engineering process and approaches.
