Safety Specialist (Chemical & Laboratory Safety Background)
About this position
Safety Specialist is responsible for developing, implements, and manages the company-wide occupational safety health and environmental program; conducts safety inspections and training; serves as consultant to departments on safety issues; and performs related duties as required. It is important to conduct this job in a practical, hands-on, proactive and responsive way that is generally perceived as being helpful.
Responsibilities
• Provide safety management, advice, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace.
• Engage employees in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace.
• Ensure that all working staff are secured from risk at the workplace and follow safety rules and regulation.
• Conduct incident investigation.
• Ensure and recommend the company complies with the law on occupational safety, health, and environment.
• Monitor and ensure complying of all SHE concerned laws.
• Provide SHE training.
• Other relevant work assignment.
Requirements
• Professional level of Occupational Health & Safety certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Good command in English.
• Minimum experience 3-5 years in SHE.
