About this position
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Manager - Sustainability to join our corporate sustainability team. This pivotal role involves spearheading sustainability initiatives across all Dusit properties, emphasizing environmental and social support.
Responsibilities
• Central Role in Sustainability Team: Act as a key figure within the corporate sustainability team, leading efforts to integrate sustainability across all Dusit properties.
• Strategy Development: Craft and implement short to medium-term sustainability strategies aimed at delivering a net positive impact on the environment and society.
• Project Oversight: Spearhead sustainability projects, from initiation to full implementation, ensuring they meet objectives within the Dusit portfolio.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and other departments to advance sustainability initiatives within the organization.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report the progress of sustainability projects, adhering to internationally recognized standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the go-to contact for sustainability-related inquiries, fostering robust relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements
• Proven experience in Corporate Sustainability, particularly in disclosure practices aligned with international standards.
• Background in sustainability practices, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in environmental compliance, sustainable supply chains, and human rights.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate sustainability efforts effectively both within the organization and publicly.
• Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
• Strong managerial and organizational abilities, with experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotel engineering, considered an advantage.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including remote management.
• A collaborative team player with a strong ability to work well with diverse teams.
