Finance & Accounting Manager (Savor Eats)
About this position
The Finance & Accounting Manager at Savor Eats is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, cash flow management, financial systems improvement, and coordination of operations to ensure efficient financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
• Accounting Operations and Cashflow management
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including:
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
• Sales Report: Prepare a sales report from each selling channel.
• Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in employee compensation.
• Inventory Management: prepare inventory movement reports and ensure accurate records of stock levels and costs.
• Costing Calculations: Calculate and analyze product costs
• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset register
• Petty cash and advance: ensure proper documentation and controls for cash disbursements and advance clearing process to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation.
• Ensure timely and accurate supporting documents and reports for month end closing process.
• Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Coordinate with banks to send the required documentation
2. Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
• Improve financial systems and controls that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop SOPs to streamline financial processes and improve reporting capabilities
3. Coordination of Operations:
• Coordinate with both internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.
• Foster collaboration across departments ensures alignment on financial processes and objectives.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in Food industry or manufacturing industry.
• Experience in the area of costing calculation and inventory management
• Experience with food aggregators and a strong understanding of their processes (e.g., delivery platforms like Grab Food, Lineman, Shopee Food, Foodpanda, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Management, presentation, and relationship building.
• Have English communication skills both in written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Can work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
