About this position

The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting and finance teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing financial reports, and managing daily financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach and manage the accounting and finance teams.
• Supervise the accounting team for all accounting transactions regarding AR, AP, fixed assets, revenue recognition / allocation, costing and GL.
• Oversee the closing of the monthly, quarterly and year–end accounts. Ensure the accounts comply with the statutory requirements / regulations and relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare managerial accounts, financial reports and cash flow to serve business decisions and planning purposes. Provide professional recommendations upon in-depth financial analysis to improve effectiveness and competitiveness.
• Supervise the daily financial operations and transactions. Ensure all transactions follow the company’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with each department to obtain information for the annual budgeting preparation. Ensure the executions of the approved budget follow the company’s guidelines and objectives.
• Responsible for all related taxations such as VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax etc.
• Liaise with the external, internal and tax auditors. Responsible for information support and issue clarifications during the audit period.
• Handle ad hoc assignments requested by the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
• At least 12 years' experience in accounting, managerial accounts and financial reports, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
• Good knowledge in Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS)
• Must have CPD license. Holding a CPA license is an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality and wellness or hotel businesses is a plus.
• Experience of SAP is required.
• Strong communication skills, people management and detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft office. Knowledge of other computer softwares such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, Canva etc. is preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
