About this position
The Strategic Communications Lead will be responsible for leading communication efforts and activities to promote SKALA achievements and the Indonesia-Australia bilateral partnership, as well as supporting the implementation of the Program’s Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
Responsibilities
• Lead communication efforts and activities to promote SKALA achievements and the Indonesia-Australia bilateral partnership.
• Support the implementation of the Program’s Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
• Work closely with SKALA’s Implementation and Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) & Performance teams.
• Be accountable to the Director of Knowledge Management & Partnerships for all outputs.
• Ensure that the Strategic Communications work plan aligns with DT-Global, DFAT and best practice principles and policies.
Requirements
• Proven experience in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of communication principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in the development sector, particularly in Indonesia, is an advantage.
