About this position

Prospera seeks a research firm to conduct a series of survey, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions to gain data and insights contributing to the demand and supply of women in the labour force in Indonesia. The research will identify constraints and opportunities to inform policy options to lift female labour force participation in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a series of surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions to gather data and insights.
• Identify constraints and opportunities for women entering the labor market.
• Inform policy options to enhance female labor force participation in Indonesia.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in designing and carrying mix-method data collection efforts, for a variety of governmental and non-governmental clients, as well as well-established systems and processes in place to manage confidential data.
• Proven track record of high-quality research results that meet clients’ standards.
• Ability to operate under strict time limits and apply high production and technical standards for the purpose of maintaining high level of professionalism.
• Strong team composition in which the team should include, at least one person with each of the following expertise: Economist, Gender Expert, Survey expert and Qualitative researcher.
• Experience in conducting gender research in the economic context will be an advantage.
• Technical team with a good command of written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
