About this position

The Performance Solutions Manager is responsible for the development and management of designated accounts in the Animal Nutrition & Health sector, focusing on finished product and premix formulation, technical support, and customer supply management.

Responsibilities

• Managing Accounts: Establish strong customer relationships, while developing commercial opportunities and value propositions. Develop and maintain key account plans for assigned customers. Maintaining account plans and opportunity development through CRM. Setting sales forecasts and budget for assigned accounts. Commercial Management and responsibility for price strategies.
• Coordinate premix formulation briefings, development and customer acceptance and approval. Responsible for filing of formulation and technical information/reports in accordance with existing quality system requirements.
• Co-operation and liaison with other DSM stakeholders, e.g.: Logistics, Customer Service, Credit Management to ensure prompt and optimal service to customers.
• Market Knowledge and Insights: Keep abreast of product and technical developments within the industry, e.g.: competitor product launches, product applications, etc. Attendance at Industry events may be required, involving stakeholder engagement with customers.
• Assist the ANH Management with projects, surveys, reports and various tasks as required. Keep up to date with current national and international feed regulations and pertinent to DSM business.
• Keep up to date with formulation techniques, technical literature and new raw materials addition feasibility into premix for new business opportunity through attending presentations/seminars/trainings on new materials and DSM products. Ensures delivery of growth targets with key ‘Performance Solutions’ customers (i.e., share of wallet)
• Delivery of targets leveraging resources of global regional and OU, including CRM pipeline. Works with OU PS Manager, Technical Expert Species, Technical PS managers, Senior Business Development Manager and Sales manager to execute activation plans and supports account managers (focus on ‘value’ customers)

• Master or PhD
