About this position

The Sr Specialist GRA Religious Compliance is responsible for executing product halal certification and supporting halal assurance system implementation, reporting to the Manager Group RA Religious Compliance in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Executing product halal certificate registration in CEROL for dsm-firmenich’s halal supervised TTH taste and P&B plants in Asia. Including activities:
• Handling halal product certification request from business team
• Analyze halal product compliance
• Prepare registration data including product formula, raw materials and halal documentation
• Participate in internal and external halal audit with halal inspection agency
• Maintain halal product list and approved materials list in database.
• Reporting the Halal Assurance System implementation to halal inspection agency
• Support in Halal Assurance System improvement process.
• Halal Internal Trainer and Halal Supervisor
• Assist in internal halal registration payment process

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Food Science, Chemistry from an accredited university required.
• A minimum of 3 years religious compliance experience within the flavour fragrance, food, beverage, or chemical industry.
• Knowledge in flavour and fragrance raw material and its halal criticality
• Up-to-date knowledge of Indonesia’s halal regulations, including those from BPJPH (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal), MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia), and other relevant bodies.
• Halal Supervisor Training Certificate from Training Provider recognized by BPJPH
• Halal Supervisor Competency Certificate from BNSP
• Excellent communication and team building skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Skilled at working in a fast paced environment open to constant change in demands
• Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude
