About this position

As the Associate Director, Sales Indonesia, HNC, you’re responsible for the Health, Nutrition and Care (HNC) business in Indonesia, delivering on both revenue and profitability goals. You manage a team of Account Managers and serve customers across all 5 HNC segments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the HNC sales strategy, plan and operations, in line with the segment strategy and to achieve both sales and EBITDA targets
• Guide account managers in developing and maintaining strategic account plans for key customers and distributors and support them in solution sales to key customers so as to grow our share of wallet and commercialise innovation projects
• Engage and maintain a strong relationship with senior stakeholders of key strategic customers
• Monitor execution of the sales plans and take corrective actions to ensure targets are met
• Develop, define, negotiate and conclude sales contracts including terms and conditions and follow up on execution in order to realize the sales objectives
• Ensure a healthy, sustainable pipeline of projects in CRM and commercialise and convert projects with identified customers to support continued growth in the Indonesia market

Requirements

• A degree in Food Science or Chemistry or related field
• A sound understanding in the value chain concept of Food, Dietary Supplement and Pharma industries and the market dynamics of relevant ingredient business
• Experience in business management, performance targets, sales operational excellence and managing sales team
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in Pharma, Dietary Supplement or nutritional Ingredients
• Experience in account management, front end sales activities and customer support will be advantageous.
• Good Command of English
