About this position

The Engineer Supplier Quality Sr position at Donaldson involves being a strong leader in quality concerns, working closely with suppliers and customers to ensure quality standards are met, and developing new quality tools and reports.

Responsibilities

• Strong Leader in Quality concerns and solving/close follow up quality issue relate to customer and supplier.
• High responsibility for job assignments.
• APQP team responsibility: as Leader to review PPAP and all quality tasks to meet project plan. Quality risk evaluation & solving during change/product development phase for smooth production launch.
• Specialist in customer quality requirement (Supplier Quality Assurance Manual).
• Monitor quality control at supplier & improve annual PPM result to meet target.
• Annual supplier audit of quality system, supporting customer audit to meet the target.
• Work closely with all supplier to deliver good part, daily Gemba walks, monitor 4M change and report. Strong problem solving at customer and supplier plant.
• Timely and accurate delivery of Quality related documents (CAPA, SPPAP, PPM,…)
• Work closely with Engineering/manufacturing/quality departments globally and at Supplier to identify and implement Quality & Manufacturing related opportunities.
• Leader on policy/process changes/ control quality documents (PPAP, SPPAP,…) to be up to date and maintain in system (on APD share point site, Globally/Internal Quality share point).
• Skills on drawing ,engineering and specification to provide support to customer and supplier training as required.
• Strong rapid problem solving , corrective and preventive action in case of Quality failure.
• Develops/recommends new quality tools/reports
• Creates actively a safe working environment for both Donaldson resident and supplier staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering field with a minimum of 5yrs with experience in a Qualify Senior role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Thai.
• Skills on engineering background, drawing, product specification, CMM measurement and other quality inspection tools.
• Strong Leader, independent ,analytical and well problem solving & decision making skills
• Strong experience with Quality tools for Automotive business especially PPAP ( Process flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, Product Testing, Cpk, ,ELV, SOC4, IMDS,…) , 8D and CMM measurement system.
• Plastic Injection or automotive experience will be good advantage.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 , system audit and supplier quality manual.
• +5yrs experience in Automotive business in Quality Senior role
• Developing direct reports and supplier quality system control.
