Head of Loss Prevention
About this position
The Head of Loss Prevention is responsible for overseeing and improving the operations of the Loss Prevention Department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating efforts to reduce shrinkage across branches.
Responsibilities
• Improve and amend the regulations and operational policies of the Loss Prevention Department to meet standards as guidelines for operations at the branch.
• Give advice, supervise, and control the operations of the Loss Prevention Department at the branch to ensure compliance with regulations and policies correctly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with branches to reduce shrinkage in order to meet the set goals. By pushing all relevant departments to implement the plans that have been laid out.
• Drive the operations of the Loss Prevention Department at branches to meet auditing standards from Store Operation Audit, Internal Audit.
• Consider and find guidelines for prevention, search, arrest, investigation, including protection of suspected persons for the Loss Prevention branch.
• Conduct an investigation In the case of an employee committing an offense from a manager level employee or above who commits corruption, a penalty is proposed to the executives by considering together with the head office's human resource department as well as the offender's agency.
• Coordinate with various agencies, both internal and external, such as the police, fire department, educational institutions, etc., to consult on guidelines for laying down safety measures and measures to prevent loss.
• Organize training on the company's policies or operating standards. Including general work topics for Loss Prevention branches to acknowledge and put into practice.
• Provide advice and recommendations regarding basic laws regarding security measures within the branch.
• Serve as a safety committee. Occupational health and working environment (OCC), Fire prevention officer (Fire Man) at the head office. and coordinate with fire departments Including transferring knowledge on basic fire prevention and suppression to the Loss Prevention branch.
• Participate in checking the monthly Cycle Count of the branch. In order to work according to the Cycle Count process with accuracy.
• Participate in checking the annual physical count of the branch. To carry out the work according to the counting procedures
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Legal, Safety Engineer or a similar field preferred.
• Had been a Loss Prevention or experience more than 10 years in related fields.
• Problem-solving & Decision making skills.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
