About this position

The Head of Accounting (Director/Assistant Director) is responsible for leading the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting operation group's daily checking and control function.
• Supervise the preparation of accounts and verify the accuracy of the company’s periodic account closures in accordance with established practices.
• Supervising and processing the financial statement reports.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for submission to relevant authorities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate all forms of tax reporting as well as other reports that must be sent to the appropriate government offices within the allotted time frames, making sure that tax laws and other applicable regulations are followed.
• Oversee and complete given tasks about the Accounting Policy Group.
• Conduct and oversee the head office settlement reports.
• Maintain and oversee the accounting internal control system to guarantee its efficacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• At least 10-15 years of work experience in the Accounting.
• Significant management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
• Experience in listed company is a must.
