About this position
The Area Operations Manager is responsible for supervising and supporting branches to achieve sales goals, managing inventory, and ensuring operational efficiency across the assigned area.
Responsibilities
• Supervise, promote, and support branches to achieve sales goals as set by the company.
• Analyze sales together with branch managers.
• Supervise the branch to manage inventory turnover to be at the level specified by the company and efficient Sufficient for sales Including supervision Product management to reduce losses from expired products, damaged products, and lost products.
• Check the branch's document work to be as specified by the company.
• Analyze branch operating results at the end of every month.
• Attend monthly Area Manager meetings and meet with branch executives.
• Propose and monitor local marketing plan, regional sales forecast and regional market share.
• Create yearly sales plan, marketing activities and local promotion.
• Monitor the movement of employees in Manpower Turnover branches to ensure that the branches have sufficient staff to operate efficiently.
• Prepare a plan to evaluate the work of branch managers and conduct manager evaluations every quarter and annual evaluations.
• Maintain branch standards by inspecting branches and creating an Area Manager Check List, including managing property and various equipment to be in good working condition.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any fields.
• Proven 10 years of experience as an Area Manager or a similar role in the retail business or FMCG or consumer goods industry.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Excellent leadership, communication, selling and negotiation skills.
• Performance oriented, highly motivated.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required both Bangkok and upcountry.
