QA Engineer Supervisor
About this position
The QA Engineer Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the Quality Assurance team, ensuring compliance with product specifications and international standards, and managing quality-related projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
• Supervising, leading and supporting the team to ensure that the design and implementation of procedures for controlling, testing and evaluation the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment are compliance with the product specifications and international standard requirements.
• Acting as superior to Quality Assurance Engineer team regarding projects, tasks and operations. Ensures projects/milestones are completed on time.
• Designing and implementing the procedures for controlling/monitoring, testing and evaluation the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment are compliance with the product specifications and international standard requirements.
• Handling of projects and tasks.
• Handling documents related to QA for ISO9001 and ASME BPE quality management system.
• Working with all related departments for quality problem investigations/verifications locally, regionally and with company’s QA at Headquarter in Germany.
• Handling of customer complaints related to quality issues.
• Building specific know-how and multiply it within the organization by conducting training programs to enhance product and technical knowledge to QA and production team.
• Handling of calibration process for measuring devices.
• Handling of certificate management process.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, metallurgical Engineering, metallurgy, materials Science or similar.
• At least 7-10 years’ experience in Quality Assurance work (preferred with Stainless Steel products) in responsible position and in an international environment.
• Knowledge of the international standards for fittings, tubing, hoses, and valve systems for handling and transport of fluids and gases in high-tech industry would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of cleanroom operation, control and monitoring at least 5-10 years’ experience would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of cleaning and passivation processes would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of ERP or SAP and ISO901:2015.
• Experience in certification of materials and product’s values, as well as their documentation, identification and traceability.
• Knowledge in production and welding processes.
• Good problem identification, analysing and solving skills, paired with a good leadership acumen.
• A good command of English language (also technical) – orally and in writing.
• Passing eyes test, near vision (Jaeger2) and colour perception.
• Full time work at Khao Yoi Plant, Phetchaburi province, with Saturday working 2 times per month.
