Maintenance Supervisor
About this position
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring the maintenance team to ensure the availability of production machines, systems, and buildings.
Responsibilities

• Preparing pre-maintenance plan and ensuring the job is done in time.
• Preparing for all subordinates the daily “job card” and checking the status/feedback/ at the end of the day.
• Ensuring the supply of electric, water, compressed air and waste water preparation is always sufficiently available.
• Supervising, teaching the Maintenance Technicians related to the technic/machine or process.
• Monitoring the performance of the subordinates weekly, ensuring to the achievement of the goals and taking corrective action if necessary.
• Supporting the other Departments in technical projects, problem solving and the root causes analysis.
• Planning, preparing and supporting the installation of a new machine and equipment in the factory together with the suppliers.
• Creating and updating the maintenance-related work instructions, coaching and developing the working skill of the workers.
• Supporting the Process Engineer and Maintenance & Process Development Supervisor, for process changes, and the implement of new procedures.
• Weekly reporting to superior about the activities of the past week and the plan for the coming week.
• Supporting the production departments and subordinates with training, knowledge and hands-on problem solving.
• Establishing the maintenance plan for the factory according to the needs of the ISO & ASME standards.
• Setting standards (tools/ time/ schedule e.g.) for maintenance jobs.
• Weak point analysis, as well as management and implementation of the corresponding Improvement to machine availability.
• Cooperation with internal and external partners.
• Overall responsibility for the maintenance of machines/systems and buildings.
• Cross-shift ensuring that faults are rectified on technical systems and plants.
• Planning of pre spare part stock and maintenance and repair budgets.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have knowledge and minimum 5 years’ experience with maintenance mechanical
