Maintenance Supervisor
About this position
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and leading the maintenance team to ensure the availability of production machines and systems, as well as maintaining the factory building.
Responsibilities
• Managing, leading, and supporting the maintenance team to ensure the availability of the production machines/system and building.
• Establishing and keeping updated the maintenance plan for the factory, ensuring the record of the maintenance work and the achievement of the Department’s KPI goals.
• Supporting the Production and Quality Departments in technical problem-solving and the root causes analysis.
• Supporting the Process Engineer to plan processes, implementing process changes and implementing new procedures.
• Planning, preparing and supporting the installation of a new machine and equipment in the factory together with the suppliers.
• Cross-shift ensuring that faults are rectified on technical systems and plants. Planning of maintenance and repair budgets.
• Creating and updating the maintenance-related work instructions; including coaching and developing the working skills of the workers.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• At least 10 years’ experience in maintaining machines, production equipment and factory facility in a responsible position. (within the metal processing industry would be perfect).
• Knowledge of maintenance principle and maintenance theory, spare part planning, pre-maintenance to improvement the machine availability and process availability.
• Good skill of trouble shooting, problem identification, analyzing and solving skills, paired with a good leadership acumen.
• Knowledge of handling instrument or automation technology is advantageous.
• Hands on working style and good motivation for perfectly job complete.
• A good command of English language (also technical) – orally and in written.
• Some knowledge in PLC or SCADA, and MES-System with SAP experience will be advantageous.
• Full time work at Khao yoi Plant, Phetchaburi province, with Saturday working 2 times per month.
