About this position

The role of a Logistics and BOI Officer is to oversee and manage logistics operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to business operations, imports, and exports. This position is responsible for managing BOI incentives, import and export process, scheduling shipments, selecting the most suitable shipping modes booking vessels, all while ensuring high levels of on-time delivery (OTD).

Responsibilities

• Handle BOI implementation and operation process.
• To propose for approval of raw materials, machines, equipment, and spare parts for BOI.
• Proposing approval of investment project/ addition/ revision/ deduction/ updating data of BOI.
• To proceed for revision approval of formulas/ account of stock and revision/ addition of machines list.
• To propose for getting approval of leasing/ sale/ rental/ transfer/ transfer receive/ destroy of machine.
• To coordinate with Shipping companies/ Customs/ Department of Foreign Trade/ Investor Club Association (IC) and related organization.
• Collaborate with finance to implement Board of Investment (BOI) incentives related to logistics and manufacturing, ensuring compliance and assisting with documentation for BOI applications.
• Manage the export logistics process by coordinating with shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods to international customers.
• Plan and coordinate shipment schedules based on customer requirements and supply chain demands.
• Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency, Address and resolve any shipping issues or delays proactively.
• Oversee the documentation required for exports, including bills of lading, export licenses and certificate of origin, while ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
• Oversee the entire import process, including coordinating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and managing necessary documentation (such as invoices, packing lists and import permits). Ensure timely submission of paperwork to the Customs Department for smooth clearance and to minimize delays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management.
• At least 3 years’ experience in logistics management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Solid knowledge of Board of Investment (BOI) incentives.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Good level in Thai and in English – both speaking and writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
• Good knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM).
