The Area Sales Manager (TT) is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, building customer relationships, and analyzing data to improve sales performance.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies: Develop sales strategies for the assigned area by analyzing market data and consumer behavior, setting clear goals, and action plans.
• Manage sales team: Recruit, train, and develop the sales team to have the necessary knowledge, skills, and sales techniques.
• Build and maintain customer relationships: Build strong relationships with local customers to foster trust and increase sales.
• Negotiate: Negotiate with customers on terms of sale, promotions, and various promotional activities.
• Monitor and evaluate performance: Monitor the performance of the sales team and evaluate performance against set targets.
• Report on performance: Regularly report on performance and market conditions to management.
• Analyze data and improve strategies: Analyze sales data and market trends to improve sales strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in traditional trade sales, preferably in the retail or consumer electronics sector.
• Experience in managing relationships with traditional trade accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance and market trends.
• Proactive and self-driven with a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Available for frequent travel to various locations across the country.
